A Walk Down the Memory Lane ~~~~ “Sometimes a short walk down memory lane is all it takes to appreciate where you are today.” -Susan Gale. Its so true. Once again I realized that when some of my former students of UODA informed me about the Convocation and asked for my prayer. You are always in my prayer, my dear boys & girls! 4th UODA Convocation .... I remember two Convocations, upto the point I stayed there. In both ceremonies, I was honored to play important roles. In the 1st convocation, in 2007, I was the Master Presenter of the Ceremony & was guided by the Pro Vice Chancellor sir Prof Dr Rahmatullah. A truly organized person. In the 2nd Convocation, in 2009, I was selected by the honorable Chairman sir, BoT, & most respected VC sir to read out the written Convocation Speech on behalf of the Convocation Speaker, which was a precious memory indeed. Standing in the place of Convocation Speaker .... Delivering convocation speech in that age was simply a great feeling ... The priceless moment! I still remember how I was appreciated by each & every single dignified person after the two ceremonies. The then Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Emajuddin Ahmed told me, “Every sincere work is paid differently” .... Yes, its true. I was admired in UODA for 6 years and at present I’m honored at my work place, DIU, Alhamdulillah! When I walked in the row of Syndicate Member, the top management of Daffodil International University during the last Convocation, I remembered saying of Susan Gale, where I’m today is the result of my sincere work. My heartiest thanks to those respected persons who keep faith on me & my work. I’m grateful to Almighty. Photo Credit: My younger son Ali Mashraf who was the student of class 5.
