A Wife of Noble Character Proverbs 31 starting in verse 10 talks about the character of a woman specifically, a wife. “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than Rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.” (Proverbs 31:10-11). As wives, this verse says that we are worth more than any valuables we may treasure. The next verse talks about our husbands having confidence in our abilities and talents. Wow! That makes me feel good as a wife because my self-worth grows stronger. As women, we may doubt ourselves and our ability to help in taking care of things around the house. However, we can be assured that our husband has complete confidence in us and an even greater fact is that God has even more than our husband. In conclusion, Wives may feel burdened by all of the things needing to be accomplished but remember that we are able to conquer the task at hand.
