A band of showers and a few embedded storms is slowly sagging south from Mansfield to Mount Gilead and Marion west to Lima and Fort Wayne. The storms were strong enough in northeastern Indiana to trigger a warning, but should weaken with nighttime cooling ahead of cold front. Rain will gradually overspread Central Ohio from the north later on tonight through Saturday morning as a weak wave runs eastward along the frontal boundary south of I-70. Showers should diminish by evening, especially north of I-70, and drift out of the state entirely by early Sunday. Another period of unusually pleasant weather and a Canadian high pressure area will take hold Sunday-Tuesday. A disturbance could bring a few showers and storms Tuesday night and Wednesday, again followed by comfortable temperatures. What’s left of Tropical Storm Dorian, now a tropical rain system, is trying to spin up again east of Florida, but will remain offshore and then head out to sea, but could add to the already sopping pattern in the Southeast a year after the severe drought. Tonight: Showers and storms arriving around midnight, low 66. Saturday: Showers and rumbles through midday, then a few breaks, though a shower threat continues into the evening, high 77. Sunday: Partly cloudy, pleasant, high 75. Monday: Mostly sunny, high 76. Tuesday: Partly sunny, high 79. Wednesday: Showers, storm, high: 78
