A big MAHALO to our UHAD coaches, staff and student-athletes for coming out today to the State Capitol to walk with President Lassner, Dean Hedges and I in the 20th Annual Mens March Against Domestic Violence. It was a great showing with over 75 people from UH in support of bringing awareness to the growing problem of domestic violence in our society today. The March brings awareness of the issues and hopefully brings to an end this woeful occurrence of violence. It is an important life lesson that we teach to our young men and women that domestic violence and abuse has no place in our society. Im so very proud of our people who represent the best of college athletics in Hawaii and around the world
