A big black widow took a bold position in a white corner of a window in my man cave. It seemed so wrong. I tried to stab her with a broadhead tipped arrow that was nearby and that was a mistake as the broadhead embedded in the sill and the black widow advanced up the arrow shaft and then retreated. But it was enough to make me surrender the arrow. So I turned to the next nearest weapon, a hammer, which I took by the head and reached to smash her with the handle end, but my hand touched her web, which was like steel cable, and I retreated again. I think I could hear her cackling like a witch at me. Then I grabbed a broom, and started to go after her with the handle, but it was rounded and not optimum, so as bold and stubborn as she was, I took the time to saw the end off the broom handle. Ha! You stupid spider. I smashed her. What part of MAN CAVE do you not understand? Yeesh.
