A big thank you to all the smokers out there... ...who are now supporting the education of thousands of children in the Philadelphia Public School system. Although you werent formally thanked by the city, or asked if you wanted to donate to this critical dilemma the city couldnt solve without discriminating against a specific and defined group of people, you can at least soldier on knowing that your habit is paying someone elses bill. Am I the only one that finds it curious that no one suggested that the additional $60/mo generated by a pack-a-day smoker instead, come from the parent(s) whose children actually benefit by going to public school? I saw you all on TV protesting with your signs, and chants directed at city and school officials, but none of those chants or signs said... ILL HELP PAY.
