A big thank you to all those who participated in the survey on collecting statistics of visible minority librarians currently working in Canadian institutions. The survey was open from December 9th 2013 to January 31, 2014. There were 120 complete responses. Maha Kumaran and Heather Cai will present a poster session on the results of this survey at the CLA Conference in Victoria, British Columbia in May 2014. Participants of the survey were offered a chance to win a free one-year personal membership to the Canadian Library Association. 111 participants filled out this part of the survey. ViMLoC is pleased to announce Gurvinder Batra from Toronto East General Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, as the winner of this membership. Congratulations Gurvinder!!
