A big thank you to everyone who turned up on saturday past to help with our beach clean up,also to Louth Council,An Taisce, and local tidy towns commitees for bags, gloves,Pickers,help etc.Thanks to Ann Larkin from the Greenore Co-Op for the soup and sandwichs at the end .We were very pleased with the turn out, with 30 at Gyles Quay and 35 at Greenore.As Councillor Jim Loughran says "we shouldnt have to do this,but its heartening to see so many people willing to give up their Saturday afternoon to help clean up our environment.He also asked that people visiting these beauty spots use the bins provided.
