A big thank you to the Iowa Kids University volunteers and kids who came to help film our fundraising video tonight! For those of you who missed the opportunitiy to be a star we will be doing some extra filming Monday night at 6:00 p.m. at our office. The kids and volunteers who showed up today were the lucky first to recieve a new IKU t-shirt and a special Ottumwa Zombie Fest promotional poster. We had a good time and soon you will see our video as part of our upcoming Indiegogo fundraiser. Iowa Kids University is raising funds towards the purchase of a building so that we can be open to serve the children of Ottumwa in a central location five days a week. Our plan is to offer preschool programs in the morning and afterschool programs in the afternoons. Look for more information in the coming weeks :)
