A big welcome to Cindy Swanson, who just joined! Cindy writes: Im 55 years old. My family moved to the SFV when I was 4, from Santa Monica. We lived on Moberly St. off of Tampa and Vanowen, just North of Victory. Growing up, we lived throughout the SFV, specifically Canoga Park and Chatsworth. Due to divorced parents, I attended Sutter, Parkman and graduated Columbus Jr High. I attended all three years at Chatsworth High graduating in 1977. My Dad has his own pool business and catering truck business as well. My Mom and her family worked for various restaurants and dinner houses throughout the SFV. I have two children, birthed my first at Northridge Hospital in 1986, then moved to Palmdale in 1994, my ex husbands decision due to ministry. I have very fond memories of days spent in the Valley. I was very fortunate to have experienced meeting some great people through my Mom and her family in the restaurants and my Dad through his businesses. I want to join because Im nostalgic at heart. I miss the Valley as it once was. This page keeps my memories of the Valley in tact.
