A bit of fun I posted last April 1 - gotta be more convincing next year: Author Jason Parent, inter-Massachusetts-county-known author of What Hides Within, a horror/mystery/comedy/spider erotica/um, romance? about an arachnid living in some losers head, was admitted to Mass General Hospital today with complaints of an itchy bottom. It feels like I wiped my balloon knot with poison ivy, Mr. Parent shared with PMS reporter, Flo Gonred. The cause of Mr. Parents inflamed anus? A goliath bird-eating spider had taken up residence in his anal cavity. When asked about the size of the spider, Mr. Parent responded, It eats birds, for f*%ks sake. Mr. Parent would not comment on how the exotic spider, native to South America, had invaded his chocolate starfish, saying only that it seemed like a good idea at the time.
