A bit of news for everyone. Emily will no longer be performing with me. She is working towards carving her own niche in the world of opera, and I am absolutely sure she will accomplish some wonderful things. Keep an eye out - shell be on a big stage someday, serenading many with a haunting aria. I cant thank her enough for all the help and harmonies she lent to the music. Singing with her was something Ill always be grateful for. One hell of an experience, with countless memories and stories we can both tell for the rest of our days. For now, P.M. Buys is back to just, well, Peter Buys. One guitar, one harmonica, a single voice. I have been incredibly busy writing, and I recently booked a few days at a studio here in Chicago. A second album is on its way, and it is filled with material that I believe to be my strongest work to date. And last thing, a quick message to all of YOU. The whole lot of you. You have helped move this ship along every step of the way. Sharing the music with your friends, coming to shows relentlessly, bringing your friends out, buying a bootlegged album or a round of beers. You are all incredible. So thank you. Thank you so much.
