A bit sad for me... I went there almost every day from 83 to 86, teaching guitar at Turner Wurlitzer Music next to Sears. It paid for much of my college! The guys at Turner were really good to me. I taught every 13 year old in a 5 mile radius how to play Hot for Teacher or Girls Girls Girls. I made about 3x the rate they were paying my peers to work in restaurants, and I got to play guitar the whole time, so I thought it was a winner. If a kid didnt show, Id go down to Original Pizza and read a magazine. Turner stocked all the latest amoeba-shaped Aria Pro japanese electric guitars with wacky paint jobs. The store made the majority of their money selling big expensive Wurlitzer home organs, a trade that is almost dead now.
