A black or dark-colored Nissan sedan has killed two tourists in a hit and run accident. The victims were elderly tourists from Georgia, who were crossing the street outside a crosswalk. It was after 10:00 pm, so the streets were dark. To the tourists, Valley View must have seemed like a safe street on which to jaywalk, but some visitors dont realize how fast traffic moves on our big, western roads. They were pronounced dead at the scene, and the Nissan vanished. A hit and run makes a senseless tragedy even more unbearable. Families of the victims are unable to discover the reason for the death of their loved ones. The responsible parties vanish, perhaps to live with guilt, perhaps not.
