A bomb explosion has just been reported in Hotoro area of Kano. The explosion which was said to have been caused by explosives strapped to a female suicide bomber is coming barely 24 hours after a similar incidence occurred involving another female suicide bomber. While I was pondering over the incidence, worried that people are just blowing themselves up and harming innocent people in the process, I saw an update on Soni Akojis wall expressing concern that the kidnapped Chibok girls may have been indoctrinated and made to carry out these attacks. At this point, I reflected back on a book I read sometime ago on how children were being kidnapped back then in Palestine and taken to Hamas meetings with the abductors posing as parents of the abducted kids and donating them to the cause to be used as bombers. Then I asked myself: What if those Boko Haram animals are strapping explosives on those innocent Chibok girls and hypnotizing them into carrying out these attacks? I pray on this day as I do always that Almighty God should first expose those responsible for this senseless killing and maiming, then visit them with his maximum anger. I also pray to Almighty God for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and to heal the injured. May He Comfort us all in this moment of grief. May He give our leaders and military the wisdom, will and courage to make and take the right decisions in rescuing us from the grip of marauding terrorists. Amin.
