Sharing this quote in my capacity as a hybrid author (who self-publishes alongside releasing books via traditional publishing), a Mentor, and one of the instructors at the Superstars Writing Seminars, to point out that there ARE no rules right now in this business. NONE. And for those of you who may not know my friend Kazu, not only is he an award-winning, bestselling creator of both webcomics and traditionally-formatted graphic novels, hes also a brilliant, groundbreaking editor of first-class anthologies, and he did the new covers on a set of seven books by someone named Rowling. And he STILL cant place the book in question. Something to think about when youre wondering about the responses you get — or dont — when you submit stuff.
