A booking agent contacted me through the music page saying hes setting up a battle of bands at the Launchpad. Hmmm... Whatll I do with that? One possibility could be to make a multi-screen stage backdrop of 1000 YEARS. The music track on the video never got its lead guitar or lead vocals. Therefore, although its drums and bass are preliminary takes, it could be used as a prerecorded band while I do live-stage leads and Michael could do live-stage violin. I dont like the idea of battles because music is an art, not a competition and setting up a multi-giant-screen stage set would not work well under the time constraints of a multi-band battle venue... but the agents offer gives me pause to think of trying something different.
