When you realize you dont have a Congress anymore, America- you merely have a posse of corporate handmaids buffering you from the reality that your bank deposits (yes, your savings and checking accounts) are merely gambling chips in the big banks derivatives casino and that their job is too usurp your force-backed compulsory taxes as insurance against the banks losses; then, and only then do you stop drinking the political kook-aid of liking this or that handmaiden (politician) and start wondering what you will do to insulate yourself and your family from the inevitable sting of Bailouts AND Bail-ins (Bailouts being the misappropriation of US tax dollars toward the doctoring of big bank spreadsheets; bail-ins being direct haircuts to our personal accounts by government edict- as in what happened last year in Cyprus). And what will you do? I wager most of you wont even see it coming, and decades of your hard earned money will vanish in an instant. Dont say you werent forewarned. What can you do about it? First, understand it. Second, dont trust banking institutions with your savings. The governments have bankrupted themselves and are looking to steal directly from us now. Cash is a boiling pot of water steaming off into nothing. Put your money into something tangible, live frugally, and wean off the tit of the supply and demand chain. Grow food, build community and at the very least move your money to a credit union.
