A brand new team, Rudolph Family Rack Pack, joined our Relay Family, last week. Tonight, we spoke with the captain who shared their reason to Relay with us and we wanted to share it with all of you. Be sure to watch to the end! After a valiant fight with breast cancer, and beating the odds and the devil that is cancer - we decided to have a party to celebrate my mom Shirley. During the party we wanted to celebrate her strength and courage during this time in her life and help her let go of that part of her life and move forward. So we labeled pink balloons, each balloon had a label that signified a date and treatment that she had to endure. From the first mammogram to biopsies to surgeries to chemo and radiation and everything in between. Then together, as a family, we released them from our lives.
