A brief hello to everyone! Back in Maine now ..., getting all of my loose ends picked up.., and getting my life back to the comfort level I like. With Spring warming the fringes .., it cant be far off. I wake in the morning near seven, just as the tallest tips on the old swamp maples feel the tingle of the the dawns first rays. I imagine the sap rushing up and expanding into the seasons first buds. Henry grunts and moans as he notices my first waking breaths and movements from his perch, his little round, stuffed puff of a bed at the base of mine. What a subdued welcoming he provided when I got back. He acknowledged me.., but barely. Not much of a show..., but his old routine instantly became the norm.., just like it never changed. Hes a happy boy! Running from room to room.., nary a care.., shaking his old knotted sock toy like a long stashed, never once forgotten, old play mate. And it is! Happy to be back, taking in the scenerey and anticipating my favorite time of year.., SPRING. The birds movements are obvious but as yet, the ground is singing no song. The pond has just begun to open and winters debris lies everywhere...., lots and lots to be busy with. Quickly ..., I want to thank everyone of my friends here on Face Book for taking this ride with me.., its been amazing.., and I want you all to know..., there is still tons to come.I also want to thank everyone in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana that made it all so special. In particular.., John and Ella for giving me a home there and allowing me to feel so comfortable. This week, I hope to bring my whole computer system up to date..., I have so much more to show and share with you all! Thanks for being such great people! Love you all! Its wonderful to have friends that are genuinely interested in our natural world and how I see it. Africa already calls for my return..., still so much there yet to see and experience. Anyone else interested in going? ~~~~~~~~>
