A brief, incomplete thankful list. Im thankful for my wife Deborah because Id be nowhere right now without her. Im thankful for my parents, George and Meryl, for letting us take care of their house while theyre on their great southern adventure. Im also thankful for their constant support for my 15 year college plan. Im thankful for Gwyneth and Marshall for reminding me why being an curmudgeonly introvert is awesome. Also, I love them. Im thankful for my cousins Ryan and Eric and their young families and being able to be a part of their lives to date. Im Thankful that I have been able to reconnect with my long lost cousins Madelyn, Lauren, and Nathan. Im thankful that Caitlin and Lindsay are living near me. Im thankful for my friends Chris and Matt who have always supported the dumb things I try and do, and have usually done them with me. Im thankful for my new roommate and friend Stephen for being a friend though everything. Im thankful for my more liberal leaning friends (Michael specifically) for irritating me and making me take a different look at the world. Im thankful for my RPG group with Chris, Alexis, Elizabeth, and John who gives me something to honestly nerd out about. And Im thankful for so much more, including my depression. While my days may be mostly cloudy, the sun shines so much brighter when it breaks through. It has shaped who I am and made me into the person that others can be thankful for too. End holiday happiness. Now returning to being an ass.
