A broad upper level trough approaching from the west will enter the central and southern plains late tonight/early Thursday morning, sweeping eastward through the day. In response, a front will slowly dip south/southeastward across the region with scattered showers developing through the day. No severe weather is expected, maybe a few rumbles of thunder here or there. Rain chances will taper off through the evening/overnight.
