A broken heart isn’t like some sickness, where the symptoms come and go. A broken heart will stay with someone forever. The pain may dull out after a while, but that person will always feel that gnawing hurt, and they will probably always wonder what was so wrong with them. You know what else comes with a broken heart? Trust issues. They let you into their hearts, and you leave them. For the rest of their lives, everytime they even come close to letting someone in, they’ll remember how it felt to be thrown away like trash. Every relationship they will ever have will be affected. And then every person who actually wants to treat them right will have to deal with the damage YOU caused. And they will have to break down the walls YOU made someone put up. So keep playing your games if you’re okay with ruining lives. Broken hearted people will sit back there and try to figure out why they weren’t good enough. Why weren’t they worthy of having love and happiness?
