A busy Friday Charlotte was still asleep when I got in this morning she eventually woke but came round too suddenly in a bang very agitated ! so had to be sedated slightly and woke again about 10 with the physio and occupational therapists waiting eagerly by her bed to get her started, with her eyes tightly shut half asleep we had her sitting on the side of the bed aided, her core is strong I was able to let go of her head for just a moment, they hoisted her off the bed in a sling and into a custom made wheel chair, still asleep unfortunately, wheeled her into the corridor to see the fish tank still asleep back to bed!! Mission accomplished she then slept some more! This afternoon she was more alert, the speech and language therapist paid a visit we showed her some YES and NO cards when asked do you have a sister called abigail she clearly looked and then pointed to yes!!!! ( another magic moment) She then broke down in tears, it is heartbreaking to see that she is so in there, but so frightened and confused to where and what had happened to her and her body, I feel a huge step forward to what will/could be! 10 th and final plasma exchange tomorrow it will make her feel terrible again unfortunately but rid her blood of more of the bad antibodies. Simon and the girls are coming up tomorrow so so so looking forward to having them here with love K & S xxxxxx
