A calmer poem, for my friends, who lost a child..... Another Child Does Play by Violet Erdey Another running child does play, In Heavens flowered fields today. The scent of flowers always linger, Held by memorys loving finger. Good memories of yesterday, Left to us, will always stay. A gentle, child-like dove, Now perches on our hearts, with love. Angels gently hug you now, Amidst glowing white wings. Your head does quietly bow, While a Spirit of love, softly sings. Songs in choirs, far away, Echo in our hearts this way. The wind blows our kisses, And all our loving wishes. Every setting of the sun, Reminds us of your childish fun. In our hearts, you still play; From now, until the end of days....... ***
