A cautionary tale: Tony Leigh was a very prominent, vocal, and active critic of the Scientology cult from Manchester in the UK. Get Becky Out was his rallying cry. One day he announced that Becky was indeed out. Get em all out, became his new theme but as his daughter was now out of the cult he lost some interest and impetus and his protesting trailed off in favour of golf. Imagine his surprise, nay, horror, astonishment even, when he discovered that Becky was not out of the cult at all but had been persuaded by OSA UK to lie to her father to get him to stop protesting. It was heartbreaking for Tony and he began to protest once again but his heart wasnt in it, something has been broken. This is why.
