A change of pace for our ZIGGY. So our lovely ZIGGY has stepped things up a bit now that he is healthy and shiny. He has been strutting his stuff, galloping about.. tail out for the world to see and enjoying the feeling of bucking whenever he gets the chance! Yes this is awesome and I love watching him ...however...clearly he can not exist like this permanently! Sooooo.... it is time to change things for ZIGGY, he is coming off his high protein diet and onto a normal maintenance diet. The supplement we have had him on lately was also heating him up so that has been changed as well. It is important to pay attention to your horses behaviour and if you introduce something new ( feed, supplement) ; watch to see how your horse behaves. So it is onto a maintenance regime for ZIGGY now..which for us here at EAQ is AWESOME. He looks amazing and he is obviously feeling a million bucks:) Time for the next stage in ZIGGYS recovery:) Cheers EAQ.
