A client of mine went to the local pet shop for help when she found a flea on her dog last week: when she came to see me the following day, her dog was still itching and crawling with fleas. The advice from the shop assistant didnt address the fact that her cat needed to be treated as well (cat fleas love living on dogs), and the organophosphate flea collar that she was sold is more toxic and less effective than the similarly-priced answer that I could offer her ow.ly/F39MI
