A coalition of five parent-groups that support teachers and public education is launching a province-wide sign campaign called “We Support BC Teachers: Taking it to the Streets” today, encouraging British Columbians to display signs designed for car and home windows. The campaign, initiated by “Protect Public Education Now” (PPEN) is calling on the government to bargain in good faith and to provide increased funding for education. PPEN is also circulating a petition which theyve already delivered once to the Premier. https://facebook/ProtectEducationPPEN thepetitionsite/373/030/758/premier-clark-negotiate-with-teachers-to-protect-public-education/
