A comment about climate change seen on the National Review - TopicsExpress

A comment about climate change seen on the National Review website. Apparently we can now add as much CO2 to the atmosphere as we want, as its just extra insulation that doesnt affect our climate. Where do they get this stuff? CO2 is not toxic gas and occurs naturally. We exhale it. The effects of adding CO2 to the atmosphere become less and less as more is added. A good paradigm is if you add 3 inches of insulation to a house with no insulation you notice a big delta in comfort. If you then double the insulation to 6 inches you notice less of a delta in comfort. If you double it again to 12 inches. You notice little if any delta in comfort. CO2 behaves like this as it is added to the atmosphere. The CO2 added 100 years ago by steam locomotives is having a much larger effect on the atmosphere than what is being added to today.
