A compelling example of the healing power of drama from International Rescue Committee, a CANY Program Partner. In the DR Congo, where devastating violence plagues villages in the eastern provinces, community volunteers have been putting on popular theatre productions that explore trauma-related themes including victims’ experiences, their return home, stigmatization, helpful attitudes in the community, and counselling.
