A confident woman 1.) Does not shrink from confrontation The best way to overcome anything is to expose it. Anything hidden has power over us, but once it is brought into the light it can be dealt with and overcome. Confrontation is extremely difficult for many people, but it must be done unless we want other people and other things to control our lives. What we run from or hide has power over us. When we do what God’s Word tells us to do, those fears that try to torment us are swallowed up. They’re gone and they have no power over us. “Remember that what we hide in the darkness has to be brought into the light if we’re going to get rid of it.” 2.) Knows God has the answers A confident woman does not worry because she sees the future differently to women who are worriers. She confidently believes that with God’s help she can do whatever she needs to do, no matter what it is. Her positive attitude enables her to expect good things in the future, not bad ones. Confidence is the fruit of trusting God. When we trust Him we may not have all the answers, but we are confident that He does. “When we lean into the dilemma and trust the hand of God, we gain control.”
