A conman is defined as a confident trickster who knows his tricks very well and believes it wont fail any time he pulls the trick!!! Outgoing Governor of Rivers State,Rotimi Amaechi is one conman whose imposture is working... He has remixed the now very popular sound track blame it on Goodluck Jonathan and like the hit it has become,it has continued topping social media charts,which has boasted the moral of his audience to pour more venom on the President.... Now here is the thing!!! On April 14 2014, the Rivers State Governor sort approval for a loan of 50 Billion Naira from two Banks in Nigeria, Access Bank Plc and Zenith Bank Plc. to complete (ALL on going project in the state and the approval was given minutes after presentation during the plenary session of the house on Apri 14 2014, following the request by the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for the completion of ongoing projects in the State. In accepting the loan approval the executive Governor stated the reason for the loan... the 50 Billion Naira loan is part of the 100 Billion Naira loan which the House earlier approved,and the loan would facilitate the completion of (all) projects throughout the State. But as usual with this conman......... He knows that the loan was not meant for any project..... He dips his hand into his bag of tricks and continues his sophistry..... “The situation we find ourselves now is really critical. We have started owing salaries of workers and nobody knows when this will end. Rivers people should know that Rivers State Government now receives 12billion Naira instead of the usual 25billion Naira as monthly allocation. This has grossly affected our projects and work has stopped in some on-going projects in the state. I am still looking for funds to pay some of the contractors and salaries. Things are no longer the same. Things are getting worse. I am not the problem, it is from the Federal government”, ------------------- This conmans confidence is top notch, he knows his gullible followers will demand for more from his bag of tricks instead of demanding for pertinent answers!!!!! So he Continues........... As for me and my household, we wont stop asking and demanding for answers until every penny of Rivers money is accounted for by the conman and his cronies!!!!!
