A couple evenings of north winds has provided an uptick in migrant diversity at Middle Run Natural Area in Newark. A concerted morning of birding today turned up 14 warbler species. Highlights for me included multiple Tennessee and Nashville Warblers, as well as great looks at Least Flycatchers, Willow/Alder Flycatchers. and many flyover Bobolinks. Quite a few other birders were around, and they may have other species to report. Evenings are often quite productive at this location as well, if you are unable to get out in the morning. Here is a detailed checklist of what I saw, including a photo of one of the Traills Flycatchers. ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S19603694
