A couple friends have recently been a victim of Facebook identity theft. The thiefs intention is to duplicate your profile, friend your friends, then ask them for money. (Usually something like, Im stranded in London and I need money wired to me.) Its very important that you restrict your friends list as much as possible to make this attack harder. Unfortunately, its not possible to completely prevent this attack, but you can make yourself a much harder target with this one simple change. Watch the video to see how its done.
