A couple of mornings a week, depending on my work schedule, David and I go to the local McDonalds for breakfast. We have become good friends with two other couples that also come there on a regular basis. There has been another couple that I have been seeing for a long time but never had met so I decided today I was going to introduce myself to them. This is what I learned about them: he is 85 and she is 82 ( what a shock because I thought they were our age); she still works part time, not because she has to work but because she wants to; and he cleans the house while she is working. My conclusion after that conversation with them is if I work until Im as old as she is, Ive got a long way to go before I retire for the third and final time. Such a sweet, precious couple and I was happy I took the initiative to go introduce myself.
