A couple of weeks back I posted a note here to let my Facebook community know that Ill be absent from here for a while due to a health issue that needs my attention. Although I need to be directing my energies elsewhere for now, I want to explain--to those many kind friends who have expressed concern --that my own health is not the issue. I am supporting someone I love through a large health challenge. BUT I will be hosting the Dec. 6 memoir workshop , as scheduled, at my home in Lafayette (California). That one is filled, but a few spaces do remain for the 2015 Lake Atitlan Writing Workshop, Jan 31-Feb 8. I will make you the promise that if you give me those eight days, Ill send you home a more powerful and authentic writer. Well also have an extraordinary time.
