A couple weeks ago we did a workout at the track where we randomly drew cards from a deck with interval distances on each card to determine what our next effort would be. Besides being fun it was also really challenging! Some of the logic and motivation for that workout is explained by Arnold Schwarzenegger in his shock the muscle philosophy.
