A cyber Monday debacle last night. Heres how it went down: NBA store having big sale, 20% off plus free shipping. Plus 20% off hats. Perfect time to score that JLin7 jersey I have been eyeing for two years. And the marvel/bulls hat I have also been jonesing for. A few days ago I stumbled upon the Costco gift card section. They sell nbastore gift cards for 20% off. ($79.99 for $100 gc). Delivery of the egift card is usually under one hour. Its 10pm and the sale ends at 2am. No problem. I click purchase at Costco. 1 hr passes. No gift card. I check my order. And realize I forgot to include my email address in the shipping section. Dont ask me why this is a completely separate field of entry as the user info. So I figure, Ill buy it again and be sure to input my email address. 1 hr passes and its 1am now. Still no email with my gc. So I buy my stuff on nbastore anyways and figure Ill call in today to apply my gift card. The first person hangs up on me. The second lady immediately says its not possible. But I ask for a supervisor who actually knows what she is doing and heels me process my transaction. Whew. And why is HIMYM so terrible this session?
