A display was set up by a homeless man named Ron on the Venice Beach (CA) Boardwalk. I noticed there was no bowl for Pastafarians. I asked him if he would make one and he said yes. I came back later to see how our bowl did. Unfortunately it wasnt overflowing with cash. I want to believe that it is our limited membership that kept his coffers low. Ron told me he had people asking him all day long Whats a Pastafarian? He said he tried to explain to them that we believe in a flying spaghetti monster, but that he had limited knowledge of our religion. He ended up telling people to just Google it. The last picture is Ron grabbing some money out of the I just care bowl and giving it to the guy who was selling original art next to him (I think also homeless). It sometimes seems that the people with the least will share more (relatively) then the people with the most. I love Ron.
