A dolphin stranded in on Long Beach island, Surf City. Stranded alive, but died after an hour (!) sitting by himself in shallows. Another nameless, faceless victim of ongoing East Coast die off. We are trying to find out who responded, Riverhead probably. Nobody even bothers to report on these dolphins anymore, they just pick up the carcasses and tell bystanders that they will be "investigating" and that is "virus". Meanwhile Noaa keeps blaming morbillivirus, while conveniently keeping mum about other than bottlenose dolphins strandings like common dolphins and kogias. These species do not fit morbillivirus hypothesis, so they hide them.
