A fact about SHER SINGH RANA, strangely the lone person convicted in Phoolan Devis assassination. Well, not only is the judgement under the scanner in the media circles for acquitting 10 others and the fact that Phoolan was no Devi either, here is a fact about SSR that is truly inspirational. Prithviraj Chahuhans grave in Afghanistan lay next to that of Ghoris, where all the natives used to stomp and spit over it and apparently a board stating - HERE LIES THE KAFIR KING OF INDIA was put up. SSR, on the pretext of being a tomb restoration expert from Pakistan, dug up Chauhans grave and brought his remains back to India after almost 900 years. And this is a fact. While not condoning the act of killing someone, I must say that this heroic deed of bringing Prithvirajs remains needs to be saluted. No wonder Nawazuddin Siddiqui is now doing a biopic on him. I hope they capture this segment well.
