A fantastic weekend in Lismore. Firstly, I want to say thanks to the parents for travelling from Brisbane to Lismore so the Little Lions could meet and train with Shihan Rick, Sensei Mark and Sempai Jon. They did well and Im very proud. Jermaine and I spent the morning learning Kobudo. While we went over basics and some exercises with the Rokushaku Bo ( 6ft staff ), Sempai Jon took me aside and gave me my first introduction to the Eku ( Okinawan style oar ).My Favourite so far. Overall the weekend was a great success and as usual everyone at the North Coast Kyokushin Karate were very warm and welcoming. Thankyou to Shihan Rick, Sensei Mark and Sempai Jon for all your time. We cant wait to have you all train with us at the Aspley Dojo in the near future. Osu!
