A federal judge has ordered a Miami eatery to stop using a Naples restaurant’s trademarked name, requiring it to remove “Sea Salt” from signs, menus, ads, its website and social media by New Year’s Day. U.S. District Judge John Steele issued a permanent injunction against SeaSalt and Pepper LLC and ordered it to submit proof it complied. The Nov. 17 injunction gave the owners of the 200-seat restaurant on the Miami River until Jan. 1 to remove everything with the sea salt name. Subscribers can read more here.
