A few days ago, Fox News hit a new low when they hinted that a speech by Pres. Obama possibly encouraged Ismaaly Brinsley, a mentally disturbed young man, to shoot and kill two policemen, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, while they were sitting in a police squad car in Brooklyn, N.Y. a few days ago. Not one Republican congressman or senator has come forward to condemn Fox News for airing such an absurd thought. I saw the speech made by Pres. Obama, and in the speech he urged all people to demonstrate and march peacefully as requested by the families of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. the two black men who were killed by white police officers. This is nothing new. Fox News also hit a another low when they tried to make a hero out of George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, a l7 year old, black minor. Fox News tried to make a hood, a petty criminal out of Trayvon Martin. It turned out that Trayvon Martin had no police record, but George Zimmerman DID HAVE A POLICE RECORD. Zimmerman was charged. if I remember correctly, with domestic violence and resisting arrest. Zimmerman was lucky. At the end of his trial, three of the six women jurors thought he was innocent. The other three women jurors believed he was guilty of manslaughter. The three jurors who thought Zimmerman was innocent managed to convince the three jurors who thought Zimmerman was guilty of manslaughter to finally agree on a not guilty verdict. A month later, I saw one of the women jurors who originally thought Zimmerman was guilty of manslaughter and she said, I voted not guilty, but I really believe Zimmerman got away with murder. I saw Rev. Huckabee on his Saturday night Fox television show, and I am proud to say that Rev. Huckabee said, George Zimmerman was found not guilty, but George Zimmerman is no hero. Amen. God bless us all.
