A few days ago, I had what must be my best fish burger ever. This was at a tiny little joint called Hambaobao at the Beauty World Centre in Singapore. What made this burger extra-ordinary was that the owner got a special pan to fry my fish due to religious requirements - we were a group of friends that went there to get a bite, and as it was selling non-halaal food, I was the only one not having something to eat. When Ryan, the owner hear this, he had absolutely no problem in getting a pan and some other utensils and to prepare me my burger. This Broiled Dory Fish burger had lemon and dill marinated dory fillet with hand made tartar sauce with some salads. It was absolutely divine and anyone in the area should try. Whilst I cannot give feedback on the other burgers they make, my colleagues seem to have all enjoyed theirs. With a limited specialised menu, this joint is certainly well patronised from the looks of people queuing whilst we were enjoying our meal.
