A few days ago, someone VERY rudely might I add, asked me Why do you have Peytons carseat facing backwards? So I explained that it was safer, she had not reached the weight/height limits on the carseat & therefor, I would not allow her to forward face. They continued to look at me like I was an idiot & when I finished said, well my baby would throw a fit. Um, can you not calm your child down? Hand her a toy, maybe shes thirsty, maybe shes hot, stop & take off/put on a blanket, something could be poking her on her clothes. As a mom you have to walk through the list of things that can be wrong, & when that list has run out, wait until you get to where your going/pull over & sooth the baby. There is no excuse as to why you should turn the baby around before they are ready. I really dont care if anyone thinks I am targeting them or saying their a bad mom, because if you want to take that risk, thats YOU. But dont get critical with me when YOU are the one risking your childs life. BROKEN LEGS: CAST IT, BROKEN NECK: CASKET.
