A few days ago, supervision was again lacking and I somehow found myself at Reckless Records sifting thru bins of music. For very little money I walked out with 8 cds which have been loaded onto the network drive and have already been accessed by the Sonos. From the ridiculously cheap bin: Tom Petty- Wildflowers Alison Krauss- Forget About It At the regularly low prices: Eric Clapton- E.C. Was Here Lou Gramm- Long Hard Look Clifton Chenier- Bayou Blues The Beatles- Revolver John Lee Hooker- Im John Lee Hooker Led Zeppelin- II I spent about $24 and got 8 albums. To me, thats quite a bargain when you consider the albums I got. There is some really classic stuff but also music thats a little deeper. I put on the John Lee Hooker album and was stopped in my tracks as the first few bars snapped thru the Sonos. The album starts out with a track titled Dimples. Most folks know this tune from a Viagra commercial, you know, the one where the guys classic Mustang breaks down while hes cruising thru the desert and being a manly man, he fixes it right up and heads on home. Its funny how all those guys in those commercials have hot bikes and cars, I guess to show that real, manly men can have ED so youll be ok using those little, blue pills. I have a pretty cool car and a couple of sweet bikes so I guess I better get me some of those pills. I want to be a manly man, too! Check out this short but sweet John Lee Hooker tune.
