A few days ago we send a letter to Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Mr - TopicsExpress

A few days ago we send a letter to Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Mr Didier Reynders and the Netherlands Mr. Frans Timmermans how come that the neighboring countries the travel advice to Dahab, Sharm El Sheikh and Taba relaxt and Belgium and the Netherlands did not. We got from the Netherlands a first answer, however, it came down to it that the government again remit the matter of the traveler and the touropparator. While the touropparator again remit the matter to the government because when they do not relax the travel advise touropparators are afraid to go (read because of the travel insurance). Sadly that substantively to the questions which where discussed, where not answerd. I have send them again the unanswered questions and hopefully they do get answered now. Below the questions I asked him and the reply from the Public Information Officer Central Government ***************************************************************************** Subject: Travel advice to Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab and Taba. Dear Mr Timmermans, In this writing, I make an urgent appeal to you to relax! The travel advice to Dahab, Sharm el Sheik and Taba Below I explain these issues to. For some time, the neighbors of the Netherlands and other European countries, relaxt the travel advice to Dahab, Sharm el Sheikh and Taba. What is the reason that the Netherlands and Belgium still gives advice to a negative advise for the above mentiond destinations, travel companies are afraid to offer trips to Dahab, Sharm El Sheikh and Taba because it would be an insurance policy. Why is there no clear European position in this case? If one compares the travel advisories including England it is much smoother than that of the Netherlands how come. If you expect to travel to Dahab, Sharm el Sheik and Taba are relaxed. I hope soon to hear from you. Sincerely, Michel van Haarlem facebook/friendsofegyptsupporttourismtoegypt *************************************************************************** Answer from the Dutch Government Dear Mr Van Haarlem, The following is a response to your e-mail addressed to Minister Timmermans, where you ask him to relax. The travel advice to Dahab, Sharm el Sheik and Taba Furthermore, do you know if there is no clear European position for travel advice. In addition, you want to know when traveling to areas mentioned are relaxed. The travel advice of the Foreign Ministry are based on information from the Dutch embassies and / or consulates, intelligence, representations of foreign countries, local authorities, businesses and other organizations. The care with which the Department makes travel advice, sometimes takes time. Therefore it could be that news already reported in the media, but can not find one in the travel advice. It is the responsibility of the traveler and the corresponding tour to go ahead. Trip or not If the security situation deteriorates in a country, Foreign Affairs recommend not to travel. To certain areas This does not mean that the Department gives a negative travel advice. The ministry does not positive nor negative advice. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs travel recommendations are non-binding. It remains the responsibility of the traveler and the corresponding tour to go ahead. Trip or not For more information on travel advice to Egypt, please refer to the link below. https://rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/reisadviezen We trust to have informed enough Mr. Van Haarlem. Sincerely, Hassan El Bacha Public Information Officer Central Government Dare to be different come to Egypt where it all begins. facebook/friendsofegyptsupporttourismtoegypt
