A few months ago, I was asked to speak at the Suncoast Camera Club in Bradenton, about black and white photography. Along with speaking, I also was asked to do a hands on photo-walk. I wanted the members to go outside their comfort zones, and challenge them to try some more abstract compositions. I thought that taking the group to Slicks Garage in Palmetto would offer plenty of opportunities to get creative with subject matter and composition. Slick has an incredible collection of beat up and weathered vehicles of all kinds. Even though I was concentrating on giving instruction, I managed to get a few shots in.
